Update / Clarion West Write-a-Thon 2019 Week Three

So it’s been quite a while since I’ve posted an update on my website. I have moved my monthly roundups to Patreon and right around that move, was swept up in workshop preparations. I attended the CSSF SF Novel Writers Workshop during the last week of June and the first week of July. Having only been home a week, I’m still acclimating to life post-workshop so I apologize for my lack of write-a-thon updates! I will make them more regular from now on. I am also working on a post-workshop thoughts update that will most likely end up on Patreon. I had such an unbelievably positive experience and I want to share it as best I can (when my brain is less frazzled).

In case you are wondering, my write-a-thon profile is here. Updates for week 3: actually wrote words (insert excessive fanfare here)! I wrote about 3,000 words in the past 2 days but only kept about 1,400 of them. Still a win in my opinion and I’m proud of it. Hoping to get my wordcount up over the next couple of weeks and try to actually reach my goal of 1,000 words a day. If you’re proud of me for working through my post-workshop slump and want to sponsor me and support Clarion West, please do!

Let’s see how I do next week.
